Description:
Reports To: Retail Store Manager
Essential Job Requirements:
Prepare food for days work; including, but not limited to, heating soups/chili’s, baking cookies, stocking chips, sandwich spreads, making coffee, filling ice, drinks, desserts, preparing green salads. Stocking essential materials; including, but not limited to, drink cups, cup lids, plates, forks, napkins, straws, coffee supplies, etc. Customer Service; including, but not limited to, taking food orders, milkshake orders, and preparing those orders. Cleaning, washing dishes, wiping tables and countertops.
Educational Requirements:
High School Degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
Food Service experience helpful; however, not essential. Customer Service environment a plus
Skills & Equipment Requirements:
Must be able to carry out simple instructions. Must have excellent communication skills, customer service skills, organizational skills and mathematical skills required. Equipment used: phone, cash register, milkshake machine, microwaves, coffee pots.
Physical Requirements:
Standing; 95-100% of workday - Lifting; 10-20 lbs – 10% of time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Working Conditions :
Hands in hot water consistently, sometimes fast paced necessary, confined workspace. Must be aware of co-workers during busy times and teamwork is critical.
