Gregory Joins Reeves-Sain To Lead Diabetes Services

Murfreesboro, TN, May 20, 2006— Reeves-Sain Family of Medical Services has added Mary Eva Gregory as Diabetes Care Coordinator, according to Rick Sain, owner.

Gregory joins the company’s medical division, which provides a range of in-home care services and products for Rutherford County residents. In addition to diabetes care through its Diabetes Shoppe, the division offers products such as wheelchairs and beds, oxygen and oxygen supplies, nebulizers for adults and children and local delivery.

Gregory brings 25 years of experience in the diabetes field to Reeves-Sain. She began her diabetes education by establishing a hospital outpatient clinic in her hometown of Florence , Ala. After receiving her BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of North Alabama , she did graduate work at the University of Alabama , completing her studies at Kent State University .

She began teaching at Kent State and went on to the serve as the director of clinical nutrition at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown , Oh., and has been assisted with the development of educational programs at Middle Tennessee Medical Center and Bedford County Medical Center . She has recently managed a community diabetics practice in eight middle Tennessee counties, supervising a team of dietitians and support staff in the provision of these community programs.

The Reeves-Sain Family of Medical Services, which is celebrating its 25^th anniversary this year. The company includes a multi-specialty independent pharmacy with niches in compounding, respiratory, infusion, durable medical equipment, diabetic care, immunizations and long term care. Founded in 1980 and locally owned throughout its existence, Reeves-Sain operates a soda shoppe/diner and offers specialty gift selections. The company also operates a pharmacy-only service in the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic.
