We are preparing for another flu season at Reeves-Sain. This yearyou can check our web site for available times to come in and recieveyour shots.
Who should get a flu vaccination? (see PDF)
- People who are 50 years old or older
- Even if youre in great health!
- Children 6 to 23 months old
- Children younger than 2 years old have one of the highest rates of hospitalization from influenza
- Adults and children with a chronic health condition
- Like heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, cancer, or HIV/AIDS
- Women who will be pregnant during flu season
- Flu season is typically November through March
- People who can give the flu to those at high risk
Remember...
You should get vaccinated if you live with or care for someone listed above or with a child younger than 6 months old.
And you should get vaccinated if you are a healthcare worker
