On any given day, you can stop by the drug store and hear the humming of the machines mixing up those delicious milkshakes in our Soda Shoppe. There are smiling faces on co-workers taking care of the many people who have come to enjoy the homemade taste and excellent quality of the variety of foods and deserts that are made fresh daily in our kitchen and served in the Reeves-Sain Soda Shoppe. It is thanks to the dedicated staff of caring and hardworking people that make the Soda Shoppe an inviting, fun, and enjoyable place to visit, whether it is for a delicious lunch, a refreshing fountain treat, or just a great place to meet friends over a cup of coffee.

Did you know that we have received the Ruthie Award for the #1 Milkshake in Rutherford County for 6 consecutive years now and that in 2007 The Tennessee Magazine has named us the #2 Milkshake in the entire state of Tennessee for the 2nd year in a row? The entire state! It is due largely in part of the fact that we have an excellent staff of servers who go the extra mile each and everyday to make a good quality product. And yes, we do add some good quality products to the milkshake as well, but we don’t stop at just milkshakes. Good service, daily soups & chili, homemade goodies, and made fresh daily salad spreads makes the Reeves-Sain Soda Shoppe a great place to visit and enjoy a good meal.

Kathleen Reed and Rachel Bean are the “Amazing Duo” that, cook in our kitchen, starting work each day before many of us even open our eyes in the morning. Starting anywhere from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., they are busy baking and cooking the many homemade salad spreads, cakes, cookies and treatsthat customers have come to know and love over many years now. These ladies work very hard each day and put their care and love into the food they prepare. There would be little to sell without them. And we have probably one of the cleanest kitchensin all of Murfreesboro! They truly care about Reeves-Sain and the food that we serve.

Our Soda Shoppe is complete with the smiling faces of our team. These ladies are the hardworking, positive force behind the continued success of the Soda Shoppe. By preparing the food for the day, taking & filling the customers orders, making the milkshakes of your choice, serving the lunches whether they are here or to-go, and maintaining the appearance and performance of the Soda Shoppe, customers enjoy their meals and the nostalgic visit to the drug store and Soda Shoppe. When days are hectic and lines are busy with customers and their requests, they know that the customer comes first, and it shows. The work flow can get busy, but they maintain a positive attitude and always go the extra mile to make sure there is complete customer satisfaction.

So, the next time you stop by the Soda Shoppe for a milkshake or a pimiento cheese sandwich for lunch or perhaps a slice of made-from-scratch carrot or strawberry cake baked in our kitchen, or should you find that a Banana Split or Hot Fudge Sundae will help you make it through the afternoon, remember that the crew of Soda Shoppe servers will give you their best, because they are the best!
