Health and Well Being

Health and Well BeingReeves-Sain is proud to be a leader in the pharmacy industry by providing the highest standards of products and customer care. We are committed to continuing our promotion of general health education and wellness programs in our retail pharmacies, our medical store, our extended care pharmacy and our infusion pharmacy. Our staff is highly trained in working with our patients and their caregivers in determining the optimal pharmaceutical treatment options.

At Reeves-Sain, we believe in using the best of both traditional and alternative medication options. Our compounding pharmacy allows for more options in the comprehensive treatment of our patients. We also offer a variety of consultation opportunities to help our patients and prescribers better understand alternative approaches to their medical challenges.

The Reeves-Sain Family currently offers several patient care services that provide one-on-one or classroom style education with one of our pharmacists.

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)

Health and Well BeingBHRT is for women and men experiencing symptoms that may be related to hormone imbalance. The most common symptoms for women are hot flashes, night sweats, inability to sleep, anxiety, mood swings, weight gain, low energy level, headaches, and memory loss, and low sex drive. Symptoms for males may include low energy level, loss of muscle mass, memory loss, and decreased sex drive, and sexual function. Many women are confused about hormones and reluctant to take or continue taking synthetic estrogens and progestins. Our program is designed to offer natural alternatives to synthetic hormones. We offer saliva testing for hormone levels and a consultation with our BHRT pharmacist to assess symptoms and provide education about natural hormone therapy. All medications are from completely natural sources and are compounded at Reeves-Sain Drug Store specifically for the patient's needs.

Cost is $200 ($120 for the saliva test and $80 for the consultation).
